Benefits
The Garden State Law Enforcement Officers Association was formed on January 15, 1996 by a group of officers concerned with families of Law Enforcement who have lost their loved ones in the line of duty. These officers saw that the financial burden now being placed upon these families was immense and wanted to do everything in their power to assist them and thus G.S.L.E.O.A. was created.
Now you must be asking how can our organization help these survivors. Answer, through generous funding from some very major contributors. With these contributions we intend and are providing death benefits to these families. However before we provide any benefits to the families we ask them personally how best we can serve them. Basically, we've been told that we have two options, they being:
Monetary donation directly to the family.
Scholarship fund set up for the children.
As for those who wish to join the organization we provide the following:
Annual Membership Card
Automobile Decals
Free Tickets to Sporting Events
All of which is provided to the member for $35.00 per year.
I'm sure you're wondering how we can provide all of this for just $35.00 a year. We do it through donations, and a working relationship with the business community, and of course keeping operating expenses low.
At this point in time we are currently having these services provided to the organization by donation:
Legal Services
Accounting Services
Partial Printing Services
If you know of any other businesses that could help the organization, either through donation of services to the organization, or benefits to the members, please feel free to email us at anytime.
Thank you for your interest, and I hope to hear from you soon!
