The Garden State Law Enforcement Officers Association once again donates $1,000.00 to the NJ Special Olympics Torch Run.

This year once again our Sergeant At Arms Wayne Olsen will be the coordinator of the Monmouth Chapter.

That's right the 2012 Polar Bear Plunge Raised over $150,00.00!

Over 250 persons took to the icy waters of the Atlantic for this event benefiting The NJ Special Olympics. Once again our own Sergeant At Arms WAYNE OLSEN was on hand as a NJ Special Olympics committee person. Wayne has served in NJ Special Olympics for over 20 YEARS

The Holiday was a Tremendous Success with over 60 person from the Law Enforcement Community in attendance.

We honored our recent retirees: Captain Tom Faitgante (25 years of service);Lieutenant Rich Belowsky (25 Years of Service); Sergeant Wayne Olsen (26 Year of Service); Officer Ann-Marie Souza (25 Years of Service). Also honored was the 2011 Person of The Year Armand Castelli and 2011 Member of the Year Officer Doug Herrmann

Officer Doug Herrmann from the Monmouth County Sheriff's Office was named this year's Member of The Year. Doug has always dedicated to furthering the goals of our organization, always giving of himself tirelessly. Thanks Doug and keep up the Hard Work, its because of members like you that can continue our Projects & Programs.

The Garden State Law Enforcement Officers Association is proud to announce its 2011 Person of the Year Recipient as Aramnd Castelli from Aramark Food Services. Armand has supported our organization & the field of Law Enforcement unselfishly for many years his Charity & Hard Work is truly appreciated. THANK YOU ARMAND!
